Appeals court upholds $15M verdict for Twist

The Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District affirmed Tuesday morning the $15 million jury verdict in St. Louis Blues hockey player Tony Twist’s favor.

Twist filed a case against Todd McFarlane and his company, Todd McFarlane Productions Inc., for its use of Twist’s name for mobster character Tony Twist in the Spawn comic series, according to the court’s opinion summary.
