Turek to Stay in Czech Republic
Flames backup goalie Roman Turek has opted out of his contract and will stay in the Czech Republic.
The Flames have 2000 #9 overall pick Brent Krahn to potentially take his place; or possibly Sebastien Centomo, currently with the ECHL’s Long Beach Ice Dogs.
Update: Turek’s agent says Turek has not cancelled his contract.
