Satan Comes to Long Island

RDS is reporting Miroslav Satan accepted an offer from the NY Islanders:

Notre confrère Renaud Lavoie a appris que l’attaquant slovaque Miroslav Satan ne joindra finalement pas les rangs du Canadien de Montréal. En effet, l’ailier gauche de 6’1’’ a accepté un contrat de trois ans avec les Islanders de New York.

He might just be the complement to Alexei Yashin the Islanders have been looking for these last few seasons.

Update 545pm: The Islanders have traded Michael Peca to the Edmonton Oilers for Michael York and a conditional draft pick.  Cap-clearing move?
