Now Playing: Rangers-Devils… Everywhere
Being in NY I have the Rangers-Devils game on the MSG Network and on OLN. As the Philly-Buffalo game is currently 6-1 in favor of Buffalo, TSN (which I get on Center Ice) decided to turn to the Rangers-Devils game. Oh, thank you. I know a blowout game isn’t always fun to watch - but sometimes it is. Glad I don’t have to make the decision on whether or not to keep watching. Thankfully, I am now force-fed NYR-NJD on three stations.
I wonder if we’ll all still miss the beginning of the Avalanche-Stars game, with the exception being those in local Col-Dal markets.
Technology really needs to step up so we can simply get what we want on demand.
Update: TSN flipped back to the Flyers-Sabres game for the end of the second period. Will we see the third?
Update 905pm: Rangers-Devils has been on, almost 5 minutes into the third. The Flyers-Sabres third period is just starting and the Avalanche-Stars game should be just about ready to start.
Update 920pm: After the Devils go ahead by 3, thanks to a hat trick by John Madden, TSN switches over to Col-Dal, a little more than five minutes in. Then the Center Ice feed switches to the Sabres’ MSG feed just in time to see the Sabres score again (now it’s 7-2 Sabres). OLN is still showing the Rangers-Devils, so the Avs-Stars coverage was merely a tease.
Comments:
I went through the same thing last night—even though the game was a blowout, I was actually enjoying the Flyers-Sabres and then bamm…it was gone.
