I Give You Rule 28
Prior to the commencement of each Stanley Cup Finals, a player will have his current stick-related, boarding and checking from behind game misconducts removed from his current playoff record. They will remain part of his historical record.
For those wondering why I’d post that, it’s for the Canes fans who are wondering why Georges Laraque wasn’t automatically suspended for his second boarding major this playoff season.
Laraque, obviously trying to stir something up, was getting his arms high, but I’m getting a bit tired of the “here are my numbers” approach by way too many players in this “new” NHL, so I’m glad he’s not suspended. Laraque had some decent shifts outside of the last half of the last period of last game (last last last).
For those wondering who I’m “rooting” for, I’m all for the Canes bringing home the Cup, but at the same time, I’m not rooting for a sweep. So go Oilers, kinda.
