Even It Up Day

Half of the first round series are now tied after today’s games.  Will any series go to 2-0 tomorrow?

One thing I’m curious about tomorrow: I’m in the NY metro area, so I expect to get the Rangers-Devils game on MSG.  OLN shows that game showing at 7, and the Avs-Stars game immediately after, but the game starts at 9.  Little chance Rangers-Devils is over by then.  Is the NYR-NJD OLN broadcast blacked out?  Will I be able to watch all of the Avs-Stars or is the entire nation, including those in the NY metro area, going to miss the beginning of the game and have it joined in progress?

This is one of the few times I miss ESPN, because you know they’d just put the game on ESPN9 or something like that if the first one runs too long or goes into OT.  OLN currently doesn’t have any option like that.

  1. As an Avs fan living in Seattle, WA, I am definitely concerned about this too. It is frustrating enough that I will miss the opening faceoff, but what will happen if the Devils-Rangers goes into double or triple overtime? Will I miss the entire Avs-Stars game? I even have the NHL Center Ice package but OLN broadcasts are never shown there. This is definitely a circumstance when ESPN9 would come in handy.
