Even a Picture Can’t Help

More mistakes by the media?  You bet.

I present you with today’s fun spot, a picture of the McGrattan-Boogaard fight.

The caption:

Minnesota Wild’s Anton Volchenkov, right, of Russia lands a punch on Ottawa Senators’ Brian McGrattan (16) during the third period in NHL Hockey action, Monday, Jan. 16, 2006 in St. Paul, Minn. Ottawa won 6-1.

It’s not like I don’t understand how the mistake occurred - Boogaard wears #24 for the Wild, Volchenkov #24 for the Sens.  Wrong team on the lookup.  However, you’d think the mistake would be quite obvious to someone there, and that it would be fixed quickly.  It’s been up like that for about two hours already.
